Hottest Sex Symbols All-Time

Jayne Mansfield – Jayne Mansfield was the one of the first blonde bombshells. She was the precursor to Marilyn Monroe and other hot voluptuous blondes. Jayne Mansfield set the standard for sexiness.
Raquel Welch – Raquel Welch’s status as a sex symbol spanned across at least three decades. She had the perfect hourglass figure and one of the most beautiful faces of her era.
Cindy Crawford – Cindy Crawford was the original supermodel. She was the first model to make multiple millions of dollars solely from modeling contracts. Women across America bought and wore fake moles because of the beauty mark on Crawford’s upper lip.
Tyra Banks – Tyra Banks made it acceptable for models to have curves. Before her, models were all rail thin with no curves. After her, they came in all sizes.
Madonna – Madonna brought a sexual revolution with her. She sexualized popular music, championed gay rights, and shocked Conservative America.
Sophia Loren – Sophia Loren was the original voluptuous woman. She brought dangerous Italian curves to America with a rich accent and pure sexuality. Sophia Loren oozed sex appeal.
Bettie Page – Bettie Page was quintessential to sex becoming mainstream. She posed for some of the first fetishist magazines, and was one of the first pin-up girls.
Jean Harlow – She was the original blonde bombshell. She posed nude at 17, starred as Lola for Howard Hughes, and never wore underwear.
Pam Grier – The real Foxy Brown made it acceptable for women to play the role of hero. She starred in Blaxploitation films in the seventies and became one of the first African-American sex symbols.
Marilyn Monroe – Marilyn brought sexiness, demureness, and a little sluttiness into the public conscience. She had a fairly public affair with JFK, and her rendition of “Happy Birthday” for President Kennedy was one of the most shocking acts of that era. Best quote: “Sex is a part of nature. I go along with nature.”

Nude Banu Alkan - Afrodit

Banu One of fixtures of Sunday morning celebrity gossip shows, Banu Alkan, like so many Turkish stars, sometimes seems to have been around forever. Banu, (or Afrodit, as she is sometimes called) is a blond Rubenesque type and somehow manages to get her face- along with the rest of her- on television for the most improbable reasons.
Born April 1, 1958 in the city of Dubrovnik, Banu was third of six children of a poor carpenter. Her family emigrated to the town of Balikesir, Turkey in December of 1966, where the family name was changed from Rebronja to Alkan, meaning "wild rose." Later her family moved to Istanbul, residing in the Kartal district. Banu attended Maltepe Kartal high school but dropped out for modeling. At 16, Banu began working for a modeling agency in Istanbul and one year later, she became the mistress of Gurbuz Hanif, a wealthy, elderly and married businessman. This relationship lasted 20 years, until his death of cancer. In her career, she starred in 24 films, in three TV series and made one album.
One of her hits in the early 90s,"Neremi? "( which roughly translates into "Which part of me?") was sung in her usual breathless style while she pointed to various areas of her body. Here is a recent sample of her singing.
The youngsters at this show initially look rather stunned and embarrassed by the performance. They recover nicely once the dancing starts.. as Turks usually do.
Unfortunately, most of her films were unforgettably bad and exploitative of women in the worst way. Borderline porn with a tissue-paper thin story lines, lurid camera angles, dubbed voices in unconvincing dialog and clothes that would make a belly-dancer blush. I have included a video clip  below which I think captures the general style of film-making you can expect from all Banu Alkan films.
Unlike so many female Turkish stars of the 70s and 80s, Banu  never quite triumphed over her buxom "sex kitten" image to become a strong and 2950independent female character, like
Türkan Şoray  or Fatma Girik. Possibly the worst that can be said is that Banu, with an absolute  minimum of talent, found a way to exploit herself -which some people think is a sign of her intelligence. I am unconvinced.

Study Shows Overweight Women Have The Most Sex

Though the media often likes to portray the sexuality of overweight women as a joke and/or a sideshow, a new study shows that overweight women are actually having more heterosexual sex than women of "normal" weight. Researchers at the University of Hawaii and Oregon State studied data from the the 2002 National Survey of Family Growth and looked at BMI range and sexual behavior. They found that "Ninety-two percent of overweight women reported having a history of sexual intercourse with a man, as opposed to 87 percent of women with a normal body mass index." Dr. Bliss Kaneshiro of the School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii says, "These results were unexpected and we don't really know why this is the case."Though the explanation may be unclear, this research is the epitome of a "no shit" study to many female bloggers in the Fatosphere. Kate Harding at fat acceptance blog Shapely Prose posted an awesome rant about attractiveness earlier this year, and how unfortunate and untrue the equation thin = sexually attractive is. Kate writes:
The world is not full of Attractive People and Unattractive People. It's full of people who are attractive to some and not to others. I hear from trolls all the time who complain that they don't want to be "forced" to find nasty, ugly fat women attractive–which utterly baffles me, since the last thing I want to do is encourage fat-hating dicks to date fat women. You don't find fat people attractive? Fabulous. Don't date them. I will find a way to pick myself up and move on without your love. But to assume your lack of sexual interest in fat chicks must be universal–or that the mere existence of self-confident fat people having healthy relationships somehow "forces" you to find fat attractive–is the height of fucking narcissism.
Rant on! It's sort of bizarre to me that researchers would choose to study this in the first place. "This study indicates that all women deserve diligence in counseling on unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease prevention, regardless of body mass index," Dr. Kaneshiro said. Uh, no shit? I mean, did they really need to do a study to prove that all women need to learn about their bodies, even if they're fat? I guess when the news "World's heaviest man marries in Mexico" makes headlines the world over, many people are still baffled by the idea that fat and sexuality can go together.
